Missing Loved Ones

Tonight, after getting off work, I came to
the office and sat down to listen to some
music when a song came on.
This song was playing at the wake
for my mother in law. No song in
the world could put the feelings and
emotions I went through and still
feel a shadow of when I think of this woman.
I was so very lucky to have had
her in my life. She was a True Lady.
This Lady had touched so many lives.
From her work in retail to her family's.
I was proud to call her Mother.
For I was blessed to have her as my mother in law.

There is another woman that I miss more
then words can express. My grandmother.
She has been gone 10+ years now and still,
to this day I will find myself wishing
I could just hug her again. I was not there
the day she passed. I could not handle
seeing her life fade away. This is a woman that
worked to raise her family. An elegant woman
that I loved dearly.
I am not alone in loving her,

or missing her.
My Aunts, Uncles, Mother, Cousins.
We all have special memories with her.
I being the first grandchild perhaps have a
few more then my cousins. But it does not
diminish how much this woman meant to
me, or them. She touched many lives.
And in some way..still does.

I found this poem and had
it put into Italian. It was a *thing* between
she and I.

mia tomba e piangere.
Non sono lí.
Non dormo.

A new Bytchfest and HNT!

Alright here we are again. Another day off has come and
gone. And this is my bytchfest on the occurrences of the day.

First off the Commander and I woke
pretty early considering we did not hit the
hay till almost 2:30 am.

I rose first and headed down to our office
to do my usual morning mail checks and such
as I always do. The Commander soon
followed as normal. We discussed what
we had to get done and what we wanted
to accomplish. A plan was soon agreed
upon and I hit the shower.

The first order of business was the city sticker.
Just another way for the town we live in to get
their few dollars from every single person that
dares to live in their town.
That was done quickly and easily.

Next was the library.
With hopes of securing
a library card and hopefully a few trashy
romance novels to lose myself in for a few days,
we headed to the library.
Welllll.......it did not work out.
Go figure.
Drivers licenses, city sticker, getting my son
registered for school was a lot easier.
They accepted a letter from our boss
stating we lived on property in the
manager's living quarters. Everyone in creation
accepted it. NOT THE FRIGGIN LIBRARY!!
Like we were borrowing gold or something and not
just some dang stupid books!

And GET THIS!
As I storm out of there fed up with the BS,
my loving husband. The man we all
know as the Commander said to the woman,
"Do not mind her, she is from New York."

UGH Men!

So completely ticked, we leave there, sans cards
or books and head to the Family Dollar.
Many cheap but needed purchases were made.
From there the quandary as to what was for lunch.

Grrrr...The Commander decided on some
Wee Nee Wagon. Needless to say, I was not
exactly thrilled with the idea of eating in the
damn Red Baron. Nor was I thrilled with the idea
they did not make french fries. Which only
completes a meal when you are enjoying
some crappy food to begin with.

Then it was on to the movies.
I had wanted to see Definitely, Maybe.
We ended up seeing Semi Pro.

Now I will tell you all now.
The movie is the usual Will Farrel fare.
Stupid with nonsensical crap and a few chuckles
interspersed here and there.
The Commander of course liked it.

And so it was back to the LoveTel.
To watch an awesome hockey game where
the Blackhawks thoroughly trounced the Ducks.
GO BLACKHAWKS!

And to make this all legal...

Here is my HNT for this week!

As the Commander says..

"I am a slave to my keyboard."

Happy HNT All!
